«ПОМОР»  - это:

• комплексное изучение полярных регионов и глобального изменения климата
• профессорско-преподавательский состав СПбГУ и ведущих университетов и научно-     исследовательских центров России и Германии
• практика на российских и германских НИС
• обучение в одном из партнёрских университетов в Германии в период третьего семестра
• стажировка в Германии во время написания магистерской работы
• диплом магистра экологии и природопользования СПбГУ и диплом Master of Science Гамбургского университета

ТРЕБОВАНИЯ К КАНДИДАТАМ*:

1.  Диплом бакалавра или специалиста

2. Владение английским языком (уровень upper intermediate)**

*Условия и форма приёма на обучение по программе регулируются  в соответствии с Правилами приёма в Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет на основные образовательные программы высшего профессионального образования (программы бакалавриата, программы подготовки специалиста, программы магистратуры) в 2013 году

XIII Международная научно-техническая конференция «Современные методы и средства океанологических исследований» (МСОИ-2013) будет проводиться 14-16 мая 2013 г.  в г. Москве в Институте океанологии им. П.П.Ширшова РАН.

Основные направления работы Конференции следующие:

1.    Методы гидрофизических исследований океана, измерительные приборы и комплексы.
2.    Приборы и технологии ресурсных геолого-геофизических исследований в океане.
3.    Подводные аппараты и роботы, элементная база технических средств.
4.    Информационные технологии в океанологических исследованиях.
5.    Методы проведения подводных работ и реализация научных проектов.
6.    Водолазная техника, технологии и методы исследований.
7.    Методы и средства морских экологических исследований.

В программе конференции предусмотрены пленарные доклады, заседания по секциям и стендовые доклады. Кроме того, планируется проведение выставки научно-технических инновационных проектов в области океанологического приборостроения и подводной техники, представленных организациями РАН, Минобрнауки РФ и другими родственными ведомствами.

Основная цель Конференции заключается в объективной оценке современного состояния методов и средств океанологических исследований и выработке научных, научно-технических и практических решений для насущных задач океанологии

В научную программу Конференции включен ряд проблемных направлений, определяющих развитие современной  океанологии: совершенствование средств и методов океанологических исследований, повышение эффективности экспедиционных работ, проблемы фундаментальных гидрофизических, геолого-геофизических и экологических исследований, разработка новых информационных технологий.

Основные направления работы Конференции следующие:

Конференция "Гидрометеорологическое обеспечение работ на континентальном шельфе" пройдёт в ГОИН (Москва) с 24 по 25 Октября 2012 года.

Программа конференции.

Students who are interested in the topic „Climate Change in the Marine Realm“ have got four more weeks to apply fort the International Summer School. The two week course is going to last from the 10th until the 24th of September and will be held in List/Sylt and Bremen. The school is open to students from different disciplines within the natural sciences or engineering sciences at Master or early PhD level from around the world. It will be held in English. On the occasion of the 6th EO Summer School on Earth System Monitoring & Modelling, the "European Space Agency" (ESA) would like to invite young researchers to join leading experts in Earth Observation, Modelling and Data Assimilation for keynote lectures, hands-on computing practical and poster sessions. Welcome to the 21st installment of the Ocean Optics Conference. From the inception, the Ocean Optics Conference series has attracted a diverse audience of professionals and students addressing virtually every facet of optical oceanography including basic research, technological development, environmental management, and policy. Over the course of the 42 year history of the series, the conference has increased in scope and attendance and has become spiced with topics of local interest as the venues have become more varied and representative of the international oceanographic community. In this tradition, Ocean Optics XXI will convene in Glasgow, Scotland in 2012, October 8-12, and is expected to attract a diverse international audience and focus on many science issues of interest within the research community.

Sessions will generally be topical, derived from the submitted abstracts, and will be comprised of invited overview lectures and contributed papers. All contributed papers will be presented as posters and a subset will be selected by the planning committee for oral presentation.

Another tradition of the Ocean Optics Conference series is the construction and distribution of conference proceedings. Each contributed paper will be submitted as an extended abstract and the collected works distributed to all conference attendees in the form of a word-searchable CD ROM. The cost of the proceedings is included in the registration fee.

The target group of the school are postdocs, graduate students, and advanced master students, from all over Europe and beyond, who wish to broaden their understanding of the ocean. They should preferably be engaged in a field neighbouring physical oceanography, such as atmospheric physics/meteorology, hydrology, geophysics, biogeochemistry, and bio- geo-sciences, and should have a sufficient knowledge of basic physics.

Physical ocean processes directly affect the global distribution and transports of ocean properties, ranging from mass and temperature to the many dissolved substances (salt, nutrients, CO2, etc.). Ocean processes are of particular relevance for the global and regional climate systems, and they set the stage for marine element cycling and the marine ecosystem as a whole. The relevant scales range from vertical ocean mixing (cm) over mesoscale stirring (km) up to the planetary scale of the global ocean circulation. The school is to provide a broader view of the ocean system from a physical perspective. The participants shall be introduced to the observations and models, theory and statistical methods used by environmental and ocean physicists, and to their present understanding how the ocean works. Additional topics are the interaction with the global climate and with marine biogeochemical and ecological systems. This will provide orientation in the context of big international research programs, such as CLIVAR and IGOOS. Besides, the school is expected to advance the interaction and collaboration between young scientists active in the named research areas.

The participants are urged to contribute to the school by presenting work of their own, generally in the form of posters, and by active participation in the discussion and working sessions.
